UNCHANGED UNTIL TODAY
Moskovskaya Original is a brand which has maintained a minimalist, authentic and traditional approach to its production. It has been produced in Latvia using the original unchanged recipe since 1938.

RAW MATERIALS
We use the highest quality wheat and rye, which is cleaned and then mashed. Carefully selected grains allow us to obtain a rounded aroma and a balanced taste.

FERMENTATION
The grain mash is blended with treated artesian well water from depth of 198m and fermented at high temperature in the beginning, followed by maturation at a steady pace for 3 days.

DISTILLATION
Distillation follows immediately after our mash matures and is repeated 3 times (quartz, then charcoal, and quartz again) to remove volatile impurities and acquire the best, purest quality.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE - Fresh, clean, robust notes alongside refreshing aniseed. PALATE - Elegant lightness with a medley of minty notes animating the underlying creamy aniseed an savory grain. Retains elegance and freshness as flavor builds. FINISH - Smooth, long lasting with light sweetness.
