The Open Special Edition 2023 is crafted in the shadow of Ben Lomond, to celebrate the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool, England.
This expression uses a combination of whisky from our unique Straight Neck pot stills and more traditional Swan Neck stills, aged in American Oak casks, to create the signature fruit, honey and soft smoke style only found in Loch Lomond single malt whisky.
Michael Henry, our master blender, has crafted this exceptional single malt with Colin Montgomerie to explore the influence of elegant Spanish Rioja Alta Reserva casks on the Loch Lomond signature style.
The Open Special Edition single malt is non-chill filtered, to keep things just as nature intended.
