Loch Lomond Single Grain Cooper's Collection Mizunara cask finish is the first in a series of annual limited releases from our Master Blender, Michael Henry. Using only single grain made from 100% malted barley, Michael has carefully selected some of our older whiskies and working with our dedicated team of coopers has finished them in rare Japanese Mizunara Oak casks to produce a whisky of wonderful character.
Distilled using only 100% malted barley in Loch Lomond's bespoke, all copper construction, Continuous "Coffey" Still giving a whisky with layers of elegant fruit and floral character, it is then enhanced with rich fragrant spice from the Mizunara Oak casks.
Matured in first fill American Oak casks and then finished for 6 months in the finest hand crafted Mizunara Japanese Oak casks, to elevate the natural flavours in our single grain.
