Choose quality, tradition and delicious flavour with Código 1530 Blanco tequila. Our mature agave tequila has an earthy, mineral character that beautifully balances the citrus sweetness. Our Mexico tequila is 38 Percent and made from 100 Percent pure blue weber agave meaning there are no additives, sugars, flavours, colours or chemicals. Low in calories, with only 61 per oz, this tequila is the Ideal guilt free treat and top of the market of tequila gifts. We only use full mature agave, aged over 7 years, to ensure each agave's Brix level (sugar content) meets our high standards. By using three times the average amount of agave per batch and ensuring it is unrested, the full, rich, smooth and untainted flavour of agave can be wholly appreciated. To finish this expertly executed process, we use our own single dedicated distillery and bottle our tequila at its origin; only 0.7 Percent of brands are solely produced at their own distillery putting our heads and shoulders above the competition. Our work proudly bears the Jerusalem Cross and the Jalisco Coat of Arms (dating back to 1530) as a symbol of its heritage story. This recognises the colonial struggle that ended in the official recognition of Amatitan as a city of New Galencia and the gifting of Jalisco with a coat of arms by the Spanish Monarchy. The name Código honours 'Los Código's'; these were the old world does and customs that continue to shape life in Amatitan and the Los Banjos region.
